Hey Bloggie,

Went out with Bro just now from work. Waited for him to end school. Planned to watch movie. My plan is to shop around and watch movie at the same time. But then me and Ifah decided to go Bugis to shop tomorrow. Since mum is going to Johor tomorrow morning and will only return on Sunday Evening, I will have this house on my own! Yessar! So no restriction to wherever i go! Freedom for 2 days and 1 night! :D

Watched Prince of Persia with Bro when the show is at around 9.20 like that. Ended about 11.15 then we decided to go home after that. Shared alot of stories and he shared alot of secrets. He's such a nice chap. Planned to watch another movie with Ifah tomorrow. So yea.. Dono what show.. Aahah! OMG! Movie marathon. Haha!

And yea... Its getting late... Tiring.. Haha!

The story...

My grandfather came to my house.. He complained about fleas in his house. After he went home, guess what, my mum saw a flea ran across the wall of our living room! What a shocking thing! Because fleas breeds super fast. And last time, at my house in yishun, we managed to save ourself from fleas in about a week. At Toa Payoh, about a month. I don't know how long this will take. Get lost and stop sucking my blood. haha!

Hey Bloggie,

Friday got exams. Friday will be the last day of CPTC training. Bonding with people across classes is fun! Now i get to know new people. People like Aisyah, Esther, Ali, XinYi, Cai Juan, Joanna, Hannah, Alfi, Nicholas, Farveen, SHIELA!, Chen Peng, Wai Ting, Derrick and many more. I am so going to miss how we chiong for the locker for space to change to our coverall. We choing for our seat at the cafeteria. How we queue up at the microwave oven to heat up our food. How we, especially me, chiong to be the first person to take the bus. Haha! I am going to miss how i have the guts to throw my pair of goggles at Wee Liang for being so annoying. Anyway, I am so going to miss CPTC.

Haiz... I am so not looking forward for attachment. At the same time, I am looking forward to it also. Haha! No idea which. Hah! All the best to you people who got places like Bexter, Intertech, Poly-dunowhat, Exxon-mobil (including me), and many more. Pity Shikin for going to be the only one at this company. Haha! She will be alone. Hah!

Anyway, all the best again! And i am so going to miss Hema and Shikin! Oh my god! Must meet often. And And and and and! I miss the betes loads!

Sad case!

4th April - 4 more days - shift training starts.

This is my shifts from 3rd April!

3rd April - Saturday - Off

4th April - Sunday - Morning - 8am to 8 pm - KDU Startup

5th April - Monday - Morning - 8am to 8pm - Steady-stead Operation & Troubleshooting

6th April - Tuesday - Off

7th April - Wednesday - Off

8th April - Thursday - Night - 8pm to 8am - KDU Shutdown

9th April - Friday - Off

It is going to be fun! At the same time scary. Because as a group you have to startup the whole plant and let it run at normal operation basically steady state. That is a difficult thing. To start a normal distillation column - you need to start the Air system, Cooling water system, Flare system, Nitrogen System, Fuel gas system, Steam System, then furnace. Finally the column to run.

Then need to monitor the column for the temperature, pressure, flowrate and most importantly the level of column. And each system requires a lot of steps. Will give you headache one. This is all the job of the field-man. If you work as a board-man. It is even worst. Looking at the electronic control system of about more than 10 pages of more than 5 systems, is such a headache. If the distillation column low, the alarm at the control system will sound. If the level too high the alarm will sound. Then you need to know how to correct the problems. And all the systems have various alarms each. The worst system that will give you alarm is the furnace. Temperature too hot, alarm, Furnace trip - meaning stop working. Pressure too high, furnace trip. Fuel gas that is entering the furnace too low, furnace trip, vice versa. And alot more. So just imagine me working at the control station, i will just stare blankly. I rather become the field man even though i need to run here and there under the hot sun - wearing safety helmets, goggles and gloves.

Now the horrible part. during the shift day, my super-duper irritating friend, Wee Liang is in my group!!!! Oh my god! i can't imagine fighting with him every hour. Even in the bus he create problem with me. Fat ass. Irritating. Now he got no voice. Padan muker! Haha! And initial group - NYP1 is being separated. about 8 people is being splited from the original group and i am one of them. Sad! But at least one of my closest NYP1-mate, Xian Ping (a guy) a.k.a. Alice. FYI, they named me Rosie after naming Xian Ping as Alice. They refers to my NYP1 girl-mates - Cheryl a.k.a. David, Hannah a.k.a. Robert, Joanna a.k.a. Richard. Haha! Oh i forget my NYP1 big brother - Yuan Lu a.k.a. Betty! Haha! Such a fun lad. But Rosie and Alice got to split now. We different group! :'( Sad!

Oh yea. Process Flow Diagram (PFD)'s Examination at training center results has release. I passed thankfully. They never show the results nor the grades. If 2 or more people got the same score, they will be sorted alphabetical order. But they show your rank among the whole cohort which is about 194 people i think. My rank is 29th. If i am not wrong, about 5 people have the same score as me can check by alphabetical order.

Hey Bloggie,

Time waits for no Man. I agree. Time travels fast without anyone noticing. And without me noticing, my year 2 life has ended way back then and now being a senior is a way-too-old thing to say. Life is so challenging. My health has been not so great. Been sneezing nowadays. Throat pain and have been constantly drinking plain water due to the unstable weather - *Thanks for the constant reminder*. With unstable eating diet. Panda eyes getting from bad to worst. Have not been having enough sleep. Slept during training's lecture. Tiredness. Lost my A3 PFD (Process Flow Diagram) and P&ID (Process & Instrumentation Diagram). Have to really track them back but don't know where to start. Without me realizing, tomorrow is the 3rd day of training. Counting down to 28 more days to end of training and start of attachment. A lot of things happen at Jurong Island. Ups and downs. All in all, no mood.

So stressed up with my exams.

Math just now was so okay-ish. I think i screwed some and i think most. LOL!

I don't know why but i nailed my common test and i will screw my exams.

It is so difficult and tough can. Haha!

Next paper will be RS, and RS I going to die. Its like omg.

Next paper after RS will be BPA. At least BPA is something I have a little confidence at. Yeah.

Hope I did overall okay for this Semester. And not looking forward for 8 March. Hah!

Its like oh my freaking gawd.

I love how things were. Not are. Haha! Last time. No scandals. All accept each other as friends. Help each other. Small group. Nothing much. Play together happily. After passing down, I started to miss myself as the president already. Haha! I miss Strings. Not the practices though. The bond that we have made together. Theodore, Jeremy, Andrew, Helen, Song Zhi, Jolinna, Wei Xun, Weoi Min, basically, the old committee. I love you guys so much.

I miss those times :

At Esplanade. Practicing like so hard.
That we went down to eat dinner every practices at 5.30pm.
Giving announcement in front of everybody in Strings.
Play together with you guys.
Sight read random scores.
Play musical chairs during our annual pizza party.
Queuing up at Luo Biao to tune our instruments.
Luo Biao say: "Its flat, its sharp, higher, lower".
Luo Biao asking me about future.
Me sharing my problems with my strings members.
Going up to collect G215 and G218, or remind Wei Xun and Joshua to collect them.
Walking home at 10 plus through the back gate.
Practicing before every practices.
Changing to white long sleeves and black long pants before every performances.
Arranging chairs before every practice.

And most importantly, i miss you guys! :D

I miss this four! Oh my gawd. Life is different now without Fadhlan.

If he's around, I think it would be better and funnier. He always, be there to make us laugh especially Hema. Recommend songs to listen. And most importantly, he is such a nice guy.

Anyway, Nothing major happened this few days. Screwed PInC test. Test is like so so easy but i never study hard enough. I have this resolution. To study way earlier before exams come. I can't wait for Strings to stop for a while and let me focus on my studies. I can't wait to tell the whole strings who the next committee members are. I so can't wait. Its next Wednesday people. I can't wait for the day to come.

Lock the Door & Update

NYP Quartet!

Hey Bloggie,

Something really funny happen today.

Me and Shikin wanted to go toilet at the Engineering Block there - Block S.

However, we passed block R to reach there, when we came across this toilet at block R. The toilet is a singled toilet - meaning meant for Handicapped people/female/male. However, the door is left ajar, and the lights are on. So we were talking2, walked pass that block. Just out of random, I pushed the door open. Guess what I saw?? Not I but we.

We saw a guy standing at the toilet bowl - urinating. I was like stunned, then I ran, laughing. Shikin was like stunned for 5-10 seconds then ran, shouting and laughing at the same time. The guy is obviously a student, because of his height, and his style of clothing. He was carrying a white bag. He turned and i think caught a glance at Shikin stunning. Shikin claim that he is an indian coz she saw him. Haha! Do these people need teaching on how to lock the toilet door?

Then, we drank Gloria Jeans today - Voltage (Extreme Coffee). Damn bitter. Add Chocolate syrup ourself and then it tasted exactly like mocha. Haha!

So yeah.. In the morning did labwork. Wee Liang shaked so vigorously while pouring the agar formulation into the agar plate. Haha! Then make a mess in the Biosafety Cabinet. Disturbed Ah Lu for fun then he tackle me - which what he always do whenever I disturb him. Funny boy! Kena tackled by Xin Yang - don't remember what i did but i know its something funny. Conclusion by Shikin is that she say im touchable by guys. -_-" Saw Wee Liang slept for almost half of the lecture. Laughed like hell too. Doesn't concentrate on BPA lecture. Missed 3/4 of it. I made Fadhlan angry coz i was like throwing a pen and it hit him while he's asleep. Seriously, its not on purpose though. I said sorry, but he showed me middle finger. WTF. He's not that kind of person for what I know. Rushed home and almost completed my Marketing Assignment in just about 1hour and 30 minutes.

Hope tomorrow another better start! And of course, i want to have a deep stare at you. Coz i know i won't be seeing you till monday! :) Love you.

Strings; Studies; Results

Hey Bloggie,

My life is like being tied with strings.. As shown in the picture. Score sheet tied by strings. I don't know why but i have this feeling that some of the string members don't really favour me. I don't want to mention who or what - but whoever they are, I really appreciate you guys for joining strings. A few more months, I will be stepping out of committee and you guys will not see me as a President any more.

To all my committee members, I appreciate you guys a lot for being there for me. I love you guys like a family. We are one remember? And I appreciate that we all will still be together when we guys step down. I love you guys a lot!

Now, must concentrate on my studies. Final exams coming soon. I hate RS. I love the rest. I don't mind the rest. Haha!

Year 3 - future stuffs

Hey Bloggie,

After Ravyna go and see Mr Yong about the attachment in our year 3, most of my frens not happy. We must study first - because of the YOG 2010. Partially its my fault because i suggest the YOG 2010 volunteering. At first I myself doesn't know that this thing will clash with our attachment. Therefore, its a good thing to join at first my thought is that. But don't know that due to this we have to be separated from the rest of the class.
Studies wise also its not a sure thing that the four of us will be together. Most probably will be separated due to the electives that we chose. I don't think that Hema and Shikin will be separated because the two of you choose the same electives. Therefore, i don't think the two of you will be separated. So cheer up guys! If me i think i will be separated because im taking biologics - 2 pharma and 1 petro. You guys took 2 Petro and 1 pharma. So should be ok. All the best to you two.
Oh well, we will see the results on Wednesday ok?
Some also won't do attachment due to outside things like Fiona and Ahlu because of the Science thing that they were forced to join in the earlier semester. So whatever that we join to escape whatever subjects or presentation last time affect our attachment schedule in year 3.

I am worried that I will be alone. But who cares, i can fit into any group easily. But girls, don't worry, you guys are still my beloved classmates. I am sorry I put you guys into this. I know you guys want to go for attachments first. I am sorry. I don't think there's any way for us to get out from YOG 2010. But im not sure. Im sorry again.

Hey Bloggie,

Finally, there's nothing else for me to plan concert or performance. The last one is done and over with. Strings has undergone through thick and thin with me being the President. You guys have tolerated me, my nonsense, my demands. And now, we all are as one. As one CCA. As one team. As one family. We cared for each other.

NYP String Quartet have been together since our ever first Strings Performance after many years, organized by me. A little hectic, because i am still a little amateur about planning a performance . String Quartet have grown a lot since that amateur-ish performance "A Chordophone Concert 2009" I hope the next Chordophone planned by the next committee would be better. I am looking forward for it. And i hope its another chance for NYP Quartet to shine. :) I hope the next committee would give us a chance.

Who would it be? I don't know about it.. Still considering. Will it be Joshua? Will it be Simon? Donald? Angela Tan? Wilson???? Not sure yet..

I can't imagine that this is the blog that have been there with me since my end of secondary 4. Haha! All memories and whatnot is there within this blog.

Now in school. 1 hour break due to no Semestral Project with Ms Chiang. Therefore, here i am blogging. About? No idea. Maybe random stuff.

Music Composition..
If only i can make it into midi - it will be nice to post it here. In my blog.
Anyway - Times of the Day
1st Movement - Morning - Violin Solo entrance with brass imitating the rise of the sun. Melody by the woodwinds and strings followed by the rushing of people going to work with alot of harmony work of English Horn, Piccolo and Clarinet. Completed.
2nd Movement - Afternoon. (doing) Starting with the brass playing the melody with woodwinds and strings doubling them at certain parts. With a lot of timpani work showing the busy-ness of street life. However, some parts of it featuring the chromatic scales of all the woodwinds, showing the hustle and bustle of city life - during lunch time, the french horn imitating the ambulance saving an emergency. Basses triplets - the rushing.
3rd Movement - Evening - Slow waltz - featuring tired workers returning from work. (doing)
4th Movement - A lively night, celebrating the tiredness of working - supper with family and friends.(doing)

Outing and First day of school

Hey Bloggie,

Went out with Ifah and Thirah on Sunday to Orchard - hopefully that Qid and tikah will come but in the end didn't. We watched Sherlock Holmes. Nice movie. 4/5 star - my rating. Almost slept during the show but the sound effect woke me up. Nonetheless, nice show - my suggestion anyway. Ate pastamania and I ate Seafood Zuppa. Ok lah.. So-so. Took loads of pictures. Accompany ifah lok for her brother's wallet. Well, managed to get this Ripcurl wallet, cost $19.90. Nice and cheap.

4th January 2010.
First day of school. Can't imagine school started after 2 weeks of break. Some say holiday sucks and some say holiday are one thing they look out for - but for me, is in between. I hate being stuck in the house thats the thing. Anyway, 1st day of school i am not late and unfortunately its math - who teaching? Hong Hong - an asthmatic teacher who makes noise most of the time asking the class to be quiet.
And for the first time i paid attention during match lesson. Whatever she teach gets in to my head. Like for real. I don't know wht to say! But yeah! Then 3 hours break. And then lab session of PIC. Another long lab but I managed to do part of the lab report on the spot. Haha! Part of my job done.
Then got RS lesson. Shocked that i pass even though results haven't show yet. I asked Mr E, how i did, he said "You got 50+. You passed."
I was like "a D is better than F"
Then, issues about Open House with my Teachers. Then Strings. Something that i Always looked forward to.

So thats that.

Hey Bloggie,

I am worried for RS. The topics get complicated as you go furthur.
And the common test covers 4 topics includes Batch Reactor, Continuous-Stirred Tank Reactor, Plug Flow Tank Reactor. I keep on swearing as I flip through the textbook because its not helping. The formulas are all over. The are not in systematic order. Its like cut and paste kindof thing. Once you are lost, there is no way you can get back on track. So one way, is that to understand fully what each step for which I don't.

BPA. Theory Based. Another killer. 1001 things to memorise. The calculation part is minor and I assure you I can ace that. However, the theory part, you will always get mixed up. Things will always get complicated that way.

Marketing. Another one. Not much of a killer. However, need to memorise definitions which requires time. I hope I will get things in my head by then.

Math. Lets not talk about it. :|

CCA!! I just can't wait for it to start.

Love just get complicated eh? Hehe!

Common Test Schedule:
Monday - Reactor System (RS) -> Evening Paper
Wednesday - Bioprocess Application (BPA) -> Morning Paper
Friday - Mathematics -> Morning Paper

Oh My God. I can't freaking understand Mathematics and Reactor System. I think reactor System is the worst module ever compared to Fluid & Particle Mechanics (FPM). At least FPM, concept is there. But for RS, the teacher isn't teaching the concept at all. I don't understand at all. And worst, his teaching is super monotonous and he is talking to himself. Like Oh My God. I am so not going to pass RS.
Talking about passes and failures, I got an A for Analytical Chemistry (A.Chem).
3 modules in my top list for this semester is
- Analytical Chemistry (A.chem)
- Bioprocess Application (BPA)
- Process Instrumentation & Control (PInC)

They are so fun!! Hahha! Anyway.. Im still figuring out what modules to take for year 3. I need help.

Orchestra practice. Almost everyday. Which is everyday actually for this week. And this week there's 2 tests. And 1 down. However, i got confidence for this test. Confirm will get at least a C. I don't know why. BPA i got a D already. D not equal to Distinction. -_-" And F for RS. F not equal to Fantastic. -_-"

I suck lah. My studies going down. However, this is only class test. I am determined to Chiong my common test after performance. And to work at the same time during holidays. I hope i won't get tired. I hope.

And as for you. I know you felt neglected. I am sorry. I am super busy. I rarely check Facebook. I rarely blog. I got orchestra almost everyday. I need to study for test. I am so sorry. However, my heart is still for you.

Orchestra is fun!
Super fun i tell you. A little stressful but is fun!
And strings standard is getting higher and higher. Which is super damn good i tell you as in for the main. Beginners - from now on i will not call you guys beginners anymore. I will call you guys members! And Members - jia you! Take over us! And please improve on sight reading!

Anyway, theory, not sure. Should i conduct or not? If not what are they going to do? Any ideas?
Anyway, Dr Goh praise all the strings members for their great improvement. Good job guys!

A Chordophone Concert 2009

Awesome.
Went well.. As planned. I think so. Hahah!
But sound wise as in playing wise, all sounded like amateurs. HAHA!
Like we have practiced for about 1 month only. Its all last minute planning.
Repertoire keep changing.
Nonetheless, we did quite ok.
Time management, went quite well. As in the timing of the whole concert.
My solo went quite ok. Lesser wrong notes i think. Better than my practices. Obvious. And i think i kept time with the pianist.
Everybody did their own part in making the concert a success. 10 points to everybody! :D
Accidents here and there - can't be avoided. But yeah.
Congrats everybody for your hard work in helping me making this concert a success.

Salad Stop - Marina Square

Working at Salad stop is super fun. People like Hadi, Syukri a.k.a Kecik, Salijah, Joanna, Chef Tony, Fay, Don and finally Wati. Thanks for guiding me and Athirah slowly. We will pick up slowly. Don't worry.

And i heard (rumours) from Athirah's eavesdropping, that Chef Tony is training me like how he use to train Don.
Haha! And Fay with her face as always and her favourite phrase "I want to go home" Haha!
But seriously, Salad Stop is customerly slow. Not many customers. And the result, me and athirah giving out flyers. Like what the hell. However, Its fun giving out flyers. Laughing our ass out looking at people reaction towards the flyers and swearing at people avoiding us.
Overall, its fun! And since no customers, we at the back did nothing at kitchen. Wiping even a drop of water out of boredom. Haha! Seriously, when no customers its boredom. Hahah!

Oh well. Next week, work again. Hahah!

My hair is thick already. I can't take it anymore. I need a haircut! Irritating ar my hair. Haha! Like crowded like that.
Life is so boring. Omg. 1 more week to performance week. Shit! I need a practice. And and, i import more songs already. School library got a hell lot of nice classical music. I actually do listen to them. Borrowed them and rip them. Super nice sia the song. I don't know why but yea.

I library now.
Having about 5 hours of break. No 2hours of A.Chem Lab. No 2hours of PI&C lab. And 1 hour of break.
Agenda :
- To finish up my lab report (done!)
- To finish up my my script (done!)
Now that my 2 important agenda is done, i don't know what to do. I feel like studying but then i don't know what to study. Its like I learn nothing much so far. Its like the lecturer didn't teach much for now. I think must wait for after 3 weeks then can start studying because by then a lot have covered. So.. I am going to rip more song. Rip till i Rest in Peace. Haha!

I am feel crappy right now. 2 violist not joining performance. 1 of them is quitting. The other im not sure. Probably quitting too maybe because her friend quit.. ? No idea. Secondly, i disappoint my secondary school friends. I never got for the Raya Outing. Im so sorry. Its not because that one person not here then i am not going. Thats not the main reason. But the main reason is that i have practice. I am planning to skip but i can't because this month is damn damn busy. I am so sorry.

I am bored actaully. My Job is starting on the November don't know which date. Haha! Salad Stop! Here i come! Haha! At Marina Square. See you there!

Anyway, results is unexpecting! I got 3.127
I thought it will drop to like 2.something, but in the end, 3. something. I was so shocked i got B+ for FPM. Haha! I got B for thermo, HMT and Math. I am grateful i got a C for REE.
Unexpecting i should say.

Strings Practice. I love to go for strings practice nowadays. Quartet chosen! I think my life with Viola is like stuck to each other. Omg! I love viola.. And i love violin too. Oh how can i forget their brothers.? Cello maybe if i learn it more indepth, then i may like it too. Same to DB. haahh!

Yesterday went out with bloggie, meet them a little bit late. Meet at Ion Orchard. Walk-walk around. Laughing our ass out non-stop. Took pictures! Treat them for break fast. Then ate fried mars which i have not tasted for ages. Then we go to Esplanade to take pictures! Oh my god. Its a nice port to lepak and take picture. So we took picture. And i told them that i have an idea to make our picture as a CD cover. So we took a nice one. And Ifah got an idea which is to transform our pic into Magazine cover. haha! Its so fun i tell you! haha!

I have been reading this book called The Red Rock Mysteries Series.
I have read the series all the way from Book #1 all the way to Book #13.
Now i am focusing on Book #14: Wind chill.
Its nice even though it portrays Christianity but i like the mysteries and the format of the story book. Its nice. The mysteries were power pack and makes you thinking!

I guess thats about it.

Oh Ya! Performance is still on! And im a little stress organizing it! Hahah! :D

I hope i can make it through.
